Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-05-09
These are the terms that apply when you use EZPZ. We've tried to write them in plain language. If anything is unclear, email admin@ezpz.family.
1. Acceptance
By creating an EZPZ account or using the EZPZ service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What EZPZ does
EZPZ generates age-tailored family activity plans for parents and caregivers. Some features are free; some require a paid Premium subscription. We may add, remove, or change features over time.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an EZPZ account.
- You confirm you are the parent, legal guardian, or authorised caregiver of the children whose first names and birth months you add to your family.
- You agree to provide accurate information about your family. The quality of plans depends on it.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
- Premium subscriptions are billed by Stripe. Pricing is shown on the pricing page before you subscribe.
- You can cancel a Premium subscription at any time from your billing settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Beta-tester accounts
During the beta period some users have been given lifetime no-charge access. If that's you, you keep your account during the beta and we'll give you fair notice (and a generous transition path) if we ever change that arrangement after the beta ends. Beta-tester accounts are not eligible for refunds because no charge has occurred.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from EZPZ.
- Use automated tools to abuse the service, generate plans on behalf of others without consent, or evade rate limits.
- Impersonate another person or sign up on someone else's behalf.
- Submit content that's illegal, abusive, or that violates another person's rights.
- Attempt to break or probe the security of the service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Content disclaimer
EZPZ activity plans are curated suggestions, not professional advice. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is safe and appropriate for your child, for supervising your child during any activity, and for the materials and tools you choose to use. EZPZ is not responsible for accidents, injuries, allergic reactions, or any other outcomes that result from following an activity. When in doubt, skip it.
8. Meetups (community noticeboard)
EZPZ includes a community noticeboard where approved hosts can post family meetups. The meetups feature is a place to find and post gatherings — it is not an event service run by EZPZ.
What "Approved host" means and doesn't mean.
- Some accounts are marked "Approved host" (shown as a green check on meetup posts). This means EZPZ has granted that account the privilege of posting meetups on the noticeboard.
- It does notmean EZPZ has checked the host's identity, run a background check, vetted the venue, screened other attendees, or endorsed any specific meetup the host posts.
- EZPZ may grant, decline, or revoke posting privileges at any time, for any reason, without notice.
Hosts are independent.
- Hosts organise their meetups on their own behalf. They are not employees, agents, partners, or contractors of EZPZ.
- Hosts are responsible for the safety, lawfulness, and conduct of the meetups they post, including the venue, the activity, and communications with attendees.
- By posting a meetup, a host confirms they accept this responsibility and the additional confirmations shown on the meetup posting form.
Attending a meetup is at your own risk.
- EZPZ does not run, supervise, attend, or insure any meetup posted on the noticeboard.
- You are responsible for deciding whether a meetup is safe and appropriate for you and your children, and for supervising your children at the meetup.
- To the extent permitted by law, EZPZ is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, dispute, or other outcome arising from a meetup posted on the noticeboard, between a host and an attendee, or between attendees.
Moderation and reporting.
- EZPZ may remove a meetup post, a message sent through the meetups feature, or any other meetup-related content at any time, for any reason.
- EZPZ may revoke a host's posting privileges at any time, for any reason.
- If you see a meetup or message that concerns you, use the in-app report button. Reports are received by EZPZ but EZPZ does not commit to any specific response time or outcome.
This section applies in addition to the rest of these terms, including section 7 (Content disclaimer) and section 11 (Limitation of liability). Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, the Australian Consumer Law (where applicable), or other consumer protection law that applies to you.
9. Intellectual property
EZPZ — the brand, the website, the activity library, and the underlying software — is owned by a small team. You may use it for personal, family use under these terms.
Anything you submit to EZPZ (a review, feedback, a suggestion, your child's name and birth month) remains yours. By submitting it you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for the purpose of running and improving EZPZ.
10. Service provided "as is"
EZPZ is provided as-is and as-available. We work hard to keep it running and useful, but we don't guarantee it will be available all the time, error-free, or fit for any specific purpose beyond what's described on the marketing pages.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, EZPZ's total liability to you for anything related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, the Australian Consumer Law (where applicable), or other consumer protection law that applies to you.
12. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that we believe pose a risk to other users or to the service. If we close your account we'll tell you why where we can.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of New Zealand, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
